In order to learn to drive and to sit your driving tests, the first thing you will need is a valid UK provisional licence. You can apply for this by getting a D1 form from the Post Office or by clicking on the link below. Fill in your details and tick the box and it will be sent out to you.
Once you have your provisional licence you can then start your driving lessons. You must first pass the theory test before you can even book your practical test. Waiting times to sit tests can be long so I would advise you to start studying the theory straight away and get your theory test booked. Then, when that is passed, we can plan for your practical test and get your full licence. More information is listed on the ‘Theory’ and ‘Practical’ pages of this website.
